Stjerne went on to lose 7-6 against Heath McCormick (New York, USA). Stjerne lost 7-6 to Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN). Stjerne lost 8-5 to Glenn Howard (Coldwater, CAN) where Stjerne responded with a 9-4 win over Jan Hauser (GC R+B, SUI). Stjerne won 9-8 against Jiri Snitil (Brno, CZE), then won 8-3 against Thomas Dufour (Chamonix, FRA). Stjerne went on to lose 6-3 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Stjerne responded with a 6-4 win over Johnny Jahr (Fuessen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.

Stjerne earned 12.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 26th place overall with 86.942 total points. Stjerne ranks 19th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 64.442 points earned so far this season.
