Dropkin won 10-3 against Czech Republic's Lukas Klima. Dropkin went on to lose 11-8 against Scotland's Kyle Smith. Dropkin responded with a 7-3 win over Finland's Iiro Sipola. Dropkin went on to lose 7-6 against Norway's Markus Snove Hoiberg. Dropkin lost 8-4 to Sweden's Rasmus Wrana where Dropkin responded with a 8-7 win over Switzerland's Dominik Maerki in their final qualifying round match.
