Sweden's Rasmus Wrana lost 10-4 to Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, CAN) in the Final of the World Junior Curling Championships, held March 3 - 11, 2012 in Oestersund, Sweden.

Sweden's Rasmus Wrana finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sweden's Rasmus Wrana defeated Norway's Markus Snove Hoiberg 9-2, then won 8-5 against Czech Republic's Lukas Klima and 4-3 against Scotland's Kyle Smith. Sweden's Rasmus Wrana won 8-4 against China's Xiuyue Ma. Sweden's Rasmus Wrana went on to lose 7-4 against Switzerland's Dominik Maerki. Sweden's Rasmus Wrana lost 5-2 to Bottcher where Sweden's Rasmus Wrana responded with a 8-4 win over Finland's Iiro Sipola. Sweden's Rasmus Wrana won 8-4 against Stephen Dropkin (Wayland, USA), then won 11-3 against Italy's Andrea Pilzer in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the World Junior Curling Championships, Sweden's Rasmus Wrana take home 5.000 world rankings points. For week 30 of the event schedule, Sweden's Rasmus Wrana did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sweden's Rasmus Wrana ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
