Wang responded with a 6-3 win over Satsuki Fujisawa (nagano, JPN). Wang went on to lose 6-2 against Laura Crocker (Waterloo, ON). Wang lost 9-3 to Shinobu Aota (Aomori, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
