Potter went on to lose 8-7 against Becca Hamilton (McFarland, WI). Potter responded with a 7-6 win over Pottinger. Potter won 8-5 against Kimberly Wapola (St. Paul, MN), then won 9-6 against Patti Lank (Lewiston, NY) and 7-4 against Erika Brown (Madison, WI). Potter went on to lose 8-4 against Aileen Sormunen (Duluth, MN). Potter responded with a 12-2 win over Janice Langanke (Middletown, NJ) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the US Curling Nationals, Potter take home 8.750 world rankings points, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 63rd place overall with 24.625 total points.
