Carlson won 11-4 against Janice Langanke (Middletown, NJ). Carlson went on to lose 6-4 against Maureen Stolt (St. Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Carlson earned 5.000 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the US Curling Nationals, moving up 43 spots the World Ranking Standings into 110th place overall with 8.720 total points. Carlson ranks 70th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.220 points earned so far this season.
