To advance to the championship game, Tuck Jr. won 9-5 over Lee Miller (Owen Sound, ON) in the semifinals of the 2012 Port Elgin Superspiel in Port Elgin, Ontario;

Tuck Jr. finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tuck Jr. defeated Rick Doll (Southampton, ON) 6-4, then won 8-5 against Jake Higgs (Harriston, ON) and 6-5 against Miller in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Port Elgin Superspiel, Tuck Jr. take home 1.925 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN prize, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 63.530 total points. Tuck Jr. ranks 48th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 20.600 points earned so far this season.
