Smith responded with a 7-6 win over Graeme Black (Lockerbie, SCO). Smith went on to lose 7-5 against David Murdoch (Lockerbie, SCO). Smith responded with a 6-3 win over Brewster. Smith won 6-3 against John Hamilton (Edinburgh, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Co-operative Funeralcare Scottish Championship, Smith take home 5.100 world rankings points. For week 27 of the event schedule, Smith did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
