Dropkin finished 9-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dropkin defeated Ryan Flippo (Fairbanks, AK) 12-4, then won 8-4 against Jake Vukich (Seattle, WA) and 10-2 against Kyle Kakela (Rolla, ND). Dropkin won 8-2 against Tony Wright (Duluth, MN), then won 11-5 against Evan Jensen (Medford, WI) and 9-6 against Nathaniel Clark (Nashua, NH). Dropkin won 6-5 against Ethan Meyers (Duluth, MN), then won 8-5 against Adam Kitchens (Devils Lake, ND) and 9-6 against Morton in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the US Junior Nationals Championship title, Dropkin earned 8.000 world rankings points, moving up 40 spots the World Ranking Standings into 109th place overall with 16.625 total points. Dropkin ranks 79th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.625 points earned so far this season.
