Pascal Hess (Train, SUI) lost 7-5 to Jan Hauser (GC R+B, SUI) in the Final of the Swiss Curling League Finals, held February 17 - 25, 2012 in Gstaad, Switzerland.
 
Hess finished 7-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hess lost 9-8 to Hauser, then responded with a 8-4 win over Peter de Cruz (Geneva, SUI). Hess won 7-1 against Bernhard Werthemann (Bern, SUI), then won 5-3 against Christof Schwaller (Dubendorf, SUI) and 6-1 against Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI). Hess went on to lose 10-9 against Hauser. Hess lost 7-4 to de Cruz where Hess responded with a 6-5 win over Werthemann. Hess won 8-3 against Schwaller, then won 9-5 against Michel in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Swiss Curling League Finals, Hess take home 4.750 world rankings points, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 63rd place overall with 36.841 total points. Hess ranks 41st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 26.985 points earned so far this season.
