Marie, NONT) and 7-6 against Jeff Richard (Kelowna, BC). Howard won 7-4 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB), then won 9-3 against Ian Fitzner-Leblanc (Halifax, NS) and 8-2 against Rod MacDonald (Charlottetown, PEI). Howard won 9-5 against Darrell McKee (Saskatoon, SK), then won 9-5 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) and 8-4 against Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB). Howard won 9-3 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, Y/NWT), then won 7-6 against Koe in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Tim Hortons Brier, Howard take home 0.000 world rankings points. For week of the event schedule, Howard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
