Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB) won 7-6 over Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) in the Final Bernard advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Canadian Curling Trials, held December 6 - 13, 2009 in Edmonton, Alberta.

In their opening game, Bernard defeated Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, ON) 11-7, then won 6-5 against Amber Holland (Regina, SK) and 9-6 against Crystal Webster (Calgary, AB). Bernard won 9-7 against Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC), then won 8-5 against Kleibrink and 8-5 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB). Bernard went on to lose 6-5 against Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
