To advance to the championship game, Kleibrink won 6-0 over Dylan Webster (Sundre, AB) in the semifinals of the 2012 Men's Players Championship in Okotoks, Alberta;
 
Kleibrink finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kleibrink defeated Andrew Schiiler (Edmonton, AB) 9-1, then went on to lose 7-3 against Spencer Higgs (Calgary, AB). Kleibrink responded with a 5-4 win over Smith in their final qualifying round match.
