Lyle Sieg (Livermore, CA) finished 6-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sieg lost 7-3 to Andy Jukich (Duluth, MN), then responded with a 9-3 win over Scott Edie (Middletown, MD). Sieg won 7-6 against Steve Shuttleworth (Fairbanks, AK), then won 9-6 against Nik Geller (Columbus, OH) and 8-4 against Christopher Doremus (Midland, MI). Sieg went on to lose 9-6 against Brady Clark (Lynnwood, WA). Sieg responded with a 9-5 win over Evan Workin (Fargo, ND). Sieg won 10-7 against Steve Day (Madison, WI). Sieg went on to lose 8-5 against Nick Myers (Mansfield, TX) in their final qualifying round match.
