Doremus won 6-3 against Evan Workin (Fargo, ND), then won 11-6 against Nik Geller (Columbus, OH). Doremus went on to lose 9-4 against Andy Jukich (Duluth, MN). Doremus lost 8-4 to Lyle Sieg (Livermore, CA) where Doremus responded with a 7-5 win over Nick Myers (Mansfield, TX). Doremus went on to lose 6-4 against Steve Day (Madison, WI) in their final qualifying round match.
