Epping responded with a 7-4 win over Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB). Epping won 6-5 against Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Epping earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canad Inns Prairie Classic, dropping 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 5th place overall with 243.640 total points.
