To advance to the championship game, Epping won 5-4 over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) in the semifinals of the 2012 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic in Brockville, Ontario; and won 5-0 over Pierre Charette (Buckingham, PQ) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic in Brockville, Ontario;
 
Epping finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Matt Paul (Ottawa, ON) 8-6, then won 6-1 against Robert Desjardins (Chicoutimi, PQ). Epping went on to lose 8-4 against Guy Hemmings (Montreal, PQ). Epping responded with a 4-2 win over Pete Fenson (Bemidji, MN). Epping won 7-5 against Jean-Michel Menard (Quebec, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic Championship title, Epping earned 32.690 world rankings points along with the $10,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 5th place overall with 188.640 total points. Epping ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 32.690 points earned so far this season.
