Bryan Cochrane (Ottawa, ON) lost 6-0 to Connor Duhaime (Haliburton, ON) in the Final of the TD Canada Trust Scugog Cup, held November 23 - 25, 2012 at the Port Perry Community Curling Club in Port Perry, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Cochrane won 6-4 over Jeff Clark (Cobourg, ON) in the semifinals
 
Cochrane finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cochrane defeated Nick Rizzo (Brantford, ON) 9-8, then won 7-1 against Mike Bryson (Toronto, ON). Cochrane went on to lose 5-3 against Duhaime. Cochrane responded with a 6-4 win over Jon St. Denis (Stouffville, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the TD Canada Trust Scugog Cup, Cochrane take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize, dropping 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 22nd place overall with 87.692 total points. Cochrane ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 66.268 points earned so far this season.
