Brett Dekoning (Chatham, ON) lost 4-1 to Terry Corbin (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the Ingersoll Clash, held September 27 - 30, 2012 in Ingersoll, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Dekoning won 8-5 over Ontario's Michael Shepherd in the semifinals   of the 2012 Ingersoll Clash in Ingersoll, Ontario; and won 5-3 over Ontario's Mike Aprile in the quarterfinals.  
 
Dekoning finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dekoning defeated Ontario's Mike Aprile 9-4, then won 5-3 against George White (Stratford, ON) and 7-4 against Joe Miller (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Ingersoll Clash, Dekoning take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,850CDN prize, moving up 27 spots the World Ranking Standings into 154th place overall with 4.543 total points. Dekoning ranks 77th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.750 points earned so far this season.
