Dale Kelly (Chatham, ON) lost 6-4 to Bowie Abbis-Mills (Aylmer, ON) in the Final of the Chatham Granite Cash Spiel, held November 23 - 25, 2012 at the Chatham Granite Club in Chatham, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Kelly won 6-5 over John Young Jr. (Chatham, ON) in the semifinals

Kelly finished 3-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kelly defeated Joel Moore (London, ON) 9-4, then won 7-5 against Brad Hertner (Brantford, ON) and 8-2 against Young Jr. in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Chatham Granite Cash Spiel, Kelly take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,350CDN prize, moving up 39 spots the World Ranking Standings into 212th place overall with 3.491 total points. Kelly ranks 176th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.750 points earned so far this season.
