Kelly finished 3-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kelly defeated Joel Moore (London, ON) 9-4, then won 7-5 against Brad Hertner (Brantford, ON) and 8-2 against Young Jr. in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Chatham Granite Cash Spiel, Kelly take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,350CDN prize, moving up 39 spots the World Ranking Standings into 212th place overall with 3.491 total points. Kelly ranks 176th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.750 points earned so far this season.
