Lisa DeRiviere (Winnipeg, MB) 6-3, then won 6-3 against Valerie Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) and 8-4 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). Sigfridsson went on to lose 5-2 against Laura Crocker (Edmonton, AB). Sigfridsson lost 6-2 to Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) where Sigfridsson responded with a 6-1 win over Sweeting. Sigfridsson went on to lose 5-4 against Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Sigfridsson earned 6.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 5th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 171.165 total points. Sigfridsson ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 45.950 points earned so far this season.
