Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC) 4-2, then went on to lose 7-6 against Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK). Larouche lost 8-4 to Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) where Larouche responded with a 6-5 win over Lisa DeRiviere (Winnipeg, MB). Larouche won 8-3 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB). Larouche went on to lose 7-1 against Barb Spencer (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Larouche earned 6.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 34th place overall with 34.085 total points. Larouche ranks 33rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.985 points earned so far this season.
