Al Hutchinson (Owen Sound, ON) won 6-4 over Dion Dumontelle (Sudbury, ON) in the Final of the Co-operators Cup, held November 23 - 25, 2012 in Markdale, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Hutchinson won 9-7 over Daryl Shane (Waterloo, ON) in the semifinals of the 2012 Co-operators Cup in Markdale, Ontario; and won 8-1 over Dale Matchett (Cookstown , ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 Co-operators Cup in Markdale, Ontario;
 
Hutchinson finished 2-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hutchinson defeated Don Coburn (Markdale, ON) 8-6, then won 9-4 against Dumontelle. Hutchinson went on to lose 7-6 against Tom Slumskie (Tara, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Co-operators Cup Championship title, Hutchinson earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 37 spots the World Ranking Standings into 141st place overall with 7.225 total points. Hutchinson ranks 115th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.250 points earned so far this season.
