Daryl Shane (Waterloo, ON) run at the 2012 Co-operators Cup came to an end in the semifinals with a 9-7 loss to Al Hutchinson (Owen Sound, ON). of the 2012 Co-operators Cup in Markdale, Ontario; Shane advanced through the quarterfinals with a 7-3 win over Ontario's Marika Bakewell.
 
Shane finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shane defeated Tom Little (Markdale, ON) 8-2, then won 5-2 against Bob Mason (Markdale, ON) and 6-1 against Kristy Russell (Shelburne, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Shane earned 1.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Co-operators Cup, remaining in 115th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 11.339 total points. Shane ranks 140th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.750 points earned so far this season.
