Susan McKnight (Uxbridge, ON) lost 9-3 to Julie Reddick (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the Guelph Womens Cashspiel, held November 9 - 11, 2012 at the Guelph Curling Club in Guelph, Canada. Advancing directly to the semifinals, McKnight won 8-1 over Jamie Sinclair (Manotick, ON) to advance to the championship game. of the 2012 Guelph Womens Cashspiel in Guelph, Ontario, Canada; of the 2012 Guelph Womens Cashspiel in Guelph, Ontario, Canada;

McKnight finished 5-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McKnight defeated Stephanie Van Huyse (Whitby, ON) 7-4, then won 5-4 against Chantal Lalonde (London, ON) and 9-4 against Patti Lank (Lewiston, NY). McKnight won 7-5 against Lauren Mann (Ottawa, ON), then won 10-4 against Sinclair in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Guelph Womens Cashspiel, McKnight take home 1.925 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize. For week 13 of the event schedule, McKnight did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McKnight ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
