To advance to the championship game, Lemay won 8-7 over Michael Fournier (Montreal, PQ) in the semifinals of the 2012 Vic Open in Quebec, Quebec, Canada; and won 6-1 over Denis Laflamme (Sept-Iles, PQ) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 Vic Open in Quebec, Quebec, Canada;
