McCormick finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCormick defeated Ontario's George White 10-1, then went on to lose 7-5 against Tom Pruliere (Sarnia, ON). McCormick responded with a 6-2 win over Ontario's Daryl Shane. McCormick won 1-0 against Ontario's Brett Dekoning in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic, McCormick take home 2.345 world rankings points along with the $2,435CDN prize, dropping 2 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 37th place overall with 39.420 total points.
