Heath McCormick (New York, NY) lost 5-4 to Ontario's Rob Rumfeldt in the Final of the Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic, held October 26 - 28, 2012 in Sarnia, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, McCormick won 7-3 over Ontario's Scott McDonald in the semifinals of the 2012 Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic in Sarnia, Ontario; and won 7-6 over Josh Johnston (Toronto, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic in Sarnia, Ontario;

McCormick finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCormick defeated Ontario's George White 10-1, then went on to lose 7-5 against Tom Pruliere (Sarnia, ON). McCormick responded with a 6-2 win over Ontario's Daryl Shane. McCormick won 1-0 against Ontario's Brett Dekoning in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic, McCormick take home 2.345 world rankings points along with the $2,435CDN prize, dropping 2 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 37th place overall with 39.420 total points. McCormick ranks 61st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.345 points earned so far this season.
