Ontario's Rob Rumfeldt finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ontario's Rob Rumfeldt defeated Brandon Corbett (Rochester, NY) 7-4, then went on to lose 9-2 against Ontario's Scott McDonald. Ontario's Rob Rumfeldt lost 6-1 to Ontario's Brett Dekoning where Ontario's Rob Rumfeldt responded with a 5-4 win over Dale Kelly (Chatham, ON). Ontario's Rob Rumfeldt won 6-4 against Tom Pruliere (Sarnia, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic Championship title, Ontario's Rob Rumfeldt earned 3.350 world rankings points along with the $3,435CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 14th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 115.000 total points.
