Amy Nixon (Calgary/Red Deer, AB) qualified for the 2012 Boundary Ford Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-5 against Kelly Schaefer (Swift Current , SK).

Nixon finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. .
