Allison MacInnes (Kamloops, BC) lost 8-0 to Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) in the Final of the Cloverdale Cash Spiel, held September 14 - 16, 2012 in Surrey, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, MacInnes won 7-2 over Yilun Jiang (Harbin, CHN) in the semifinals of the 2012 Cloverdale Cash Spiel in Surrey, British Columbia; and won 6-2 over Nicole Backe (Nanaimo, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 Cloverdale Cash Spiel in Surrey, British Columbia;
 
MacInnes finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacInnes defeated Nicole Montgomery (New Westminster, BC) 9-2, then went on to lose 5-4 against Marilou Richter (New Westminster, BC). MacInnes responded with a 6-4 win over Adina Tasaka (New Westminister, BC). MacInnes won 7-2 against British Columbia's Dezaray Hawes in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Cloverdale Cash Spiel, MacInnes take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,650CDN prize, moving up 24 spots the World Ranking Standings into 99th place overall with 4.449 total points. MacInnes ranks 27th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.750 points earned so far this season.
