In their opening game, Bilesky defeated Leon Romaniuk (Seattle, WA) 5-2, then won 11-0 against British Columbia's Lainglais and 7-3 against Ken McArdle (New Westminster, BC). Bilesky won 7-6 against British Columbia's Richard Brower in their final qualifying round match.
