Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) won 8-2 over Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC) in the Final of the Cloverdale Cash Spiel, held September 14 - 16, 2012 in Surrey, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Pierce won 8-7 over Andrew Bilesky (Vancouver , BC) in the semifinals of the 2012 Cloverdale Cash Spiel in Surrey, British Columbia; and won 8-3 over Brady Clark (Seattle, WA) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 Cloverdale Cash Spiel in Surrey, British Columbia;
 
Pierce finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pierce defeated Tyler Klymchuk (Vancouver, BC) 5-2, then won 9-2 against Mike Calcagno (Seattle, WA). Pierce went on to lose 6-5 against Jay Wakefield (New Westminster, BC). Pierce responded with a 8-4 win over Dejia Zou (Harbin, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Cloverdale Cash Spiel Championship title, Pierce earned 3.000 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 25th place overall with 41.260 total points. Pierce ranks 34th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.000 points earned so far this season.
