In their opening game, Geall defeated Brady Clark (Seattle, WA) 7-2, then won 4-1 against Randie Shen (Taipei, TPE) and 5-2 against British Columbia's Jody Epp. Geall went on to lose 7-4 against British Columbia's Mel Steffin in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Cloverdale Cash Spiel, Geall take home 2.250 world rankings points along with the $1,650CDN prize, moving up 145 spots the World Ranking Standings into 195th place overall with 2.331 total points.
