Fenson responded with a 6-3 win over Brent Yamada (Vernon, BC). Fenson won 7-4 against Chang-Min Kim (Gyeongbuk Uiseong, KOR), then won 9-4 against King in their final qualifying round match.
 
Fenson earned 2.505 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 34th place overall with 34.640 total points.
