Kim went on to lose 5-4 against Marla Mallett (Cloverdale, BC). Kim responded with a 6-3 win over Desiree Schmidt (Castlegar, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kim earned 2.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Valley First Crown of Curling, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 82nd place overall with 9.479 total points. Kim ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.050 points earned so far this season.
