Johnson finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Johnson defeated Ontario's Kelly Cochrane 7-4, then won 8-5 against Katie Lindsay (Welland, ON). Johnson went on to lose 3-2 against Sarah Picton (Stroud, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
