Brandi Tinkler (Victoria, BC) finished 3-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tinkler defeated Sarah Koltun (Whitehorse, YK) 6-4, then went on to lose 6-2 against Marla Mallett (Cloverdale, BC). Tinkler responded with a 7-4 win over Roberta Kuhn (Vernon, BC). Tinkler won 6-5 against Nicole Montgomery (New Westminster, BC). Tinkler went on to lose 10-4 against Nicole Backe (Nanaimo, BC). Tinkler lost 5-4 to Kuhn in their final qualifying round match.

Tinkler earned 0.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 13 of the event schedule, Tinkler did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tinkler ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
