Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) won 5-3 over Margaretha Sigfridsson (Skelleftea, SWE) in the Final of the Radisson Blu Oslo Cup, held September 20 - 23, 2012 in Oslo, Norway. To advance to the championship game, Middaugh won 7-4 over Olga Zharkova (Kaliningrad, RUS) in the semifinals of the 2012 Radisson Blu Oslo Cup in Oslo, Norway; and won 7-6 over Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 Radisson Blu Oslo Cup in Oslo, Norway;

Middaugh are currently 2-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Middaugh defeated Finland's Ellen Vogt 7-3, then went on to lose 5-3 against Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI). Middaugh responded with a 7-4 win over Sweden's Jonna McManus. In their next game, Middaugh plays.

For winning the Radisson Blu Oslo Cup Championship title, Middaugh earned 25.270 world rankings points along with the $6,843CDN first prize cheque, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 175.410 total points.
