Juliane Jacoby (Fuessen, GER) 7-4, then went on to lose 6-5 against Manuela Siegrist (Basel, SUI). Muirhead lost 6-3 to Hannah Fleming (Stirling, SCO) where Muirhead responded with a 10-0 win over Jacoby. Muirhead won 7-1 against Siegrist. Muirhead went on to lose 5-4 against Sweden's Anna Hasselborg in their final qualifying round match.
 
Muirhead earned 3.011 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 9th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 125.996 total points. Muirhead ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.511 points earned so far this season.
