To advance to the championship game, Sigfridsson won 6-2 over Lorna Vevers (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2012 Womens Masters Basel in Basel, Switzerland; and won 6-2 over Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 Womens Masters Basel in Basel, Switzerland;
 
Sigfridsson finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sigfridsson defeated Ildiko Szekeres (Budapest, HUN) 10-3, then won 6-5 against Hannah Fleming (Stirling, SCO) and 5-1 against Andrea Schopp (Garmisch, GER) in their final qualifying round match.
