Sigfridsson finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sigfridsson defeated Ildiko Szekeres (Budapest, HUN) 10-3, then won 6-5 against Hannah Fleming (Stirling, SCO) and 5-1 against Andrea Schopp (Garmisch, GER) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Womens Masters Basel Championship title, Sigfridsson earned 21.900 world rankings points along with the $10,482CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 5th place overall with 165.165 total points. Sigfridsson ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 39.950 points earned so far this season.
