Satsuki Fujisawa (Karuizawa, JPN) won 5-2 over Eun Jung Kim ( Gyeongbuk Uiseong,, KOR) in the Final of the Shamrock Shotgun, held October 5 - 7, 2012 in Edmonton, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Fujisawa won 5-3 over Holly Whyte (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2012 Shamrock Shotgun in Edmonton, Alberta; and won 7-1 over Jennifer Schab (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals.

Fujisawa finished 4-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fujisawa defeated Yilun Jiang (HARBIN, CHN) 5-4, then won 6-4 against Alberta's Lisa Johnson and 6-1 against Schab. Fujisawa won 7-1 against Candace Wanechko (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Shamrock Shotgun Championship title, Fujisawa earned 2.750 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 32nd place overall with 32.210 total points. Fujisawa ranks 16th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 21.360 points earned so far this season.
