Wade White (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2012 Shamrock Shotgun playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Chang-Min Kim (Gyeongbuk Uiseong, KOR).

White finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, White defeated Ontario's Doug Brewer 8-3, then won 6-1 against Danny Sherrard (Edmonton, AB). White went on to lose 6-4 against Thomas Scoffin (Edmonton, AB). White responded with a 7-2 win over Jessi Wilkinson (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

White earned 1.050 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Shamrock Shotgun, dropping 3 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 66th place overall with 17.560 total points. White ranks 54th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.250 points earned so far this season.
