LeCocq responded with a 5-4 win over Eddie MacKenzie (Charlottetown, PEI). LeCocq won 8-4 against Chad Stevens (Halifax, NS). LeCocq went on to lose 8-3 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
LeCocq earned 2.723 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 100th place overall with 13.348 total points. LeCocq ranks 107th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.598 points earned so far this season.
