Liane Fossum (Thunder Bay, ON) finished 1-3 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fossum defeated Northern Ontario's Megan St. Amand 8-2, then went on to lose 8-7 against Miranda Solem (Cohasset, MN). Fossum lost 8-3 to Ontario's Ashley Kallos. Fossum lost 6-0 to Becca Hamilton (Madison, WI) in their final qualifying round match.
