Bernard went on to lose 6-1 against Cathy Auld (Mississauga, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Bernard earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 15th place overall with 158.367 total points.
