Jiri Snitil (Praha, CZE) finished 6-5 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Snitil defeated Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR) 8-5, then went on to lose 12-5 against Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN). Snitil responded with a 7-6 win over Andrey Drozdov (Moscow, RUS). Snitil went on to lose 7-3 against David Murdoch (Aberdeen, SCO). Snitil lost 7-4 to Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) where Snitil responded with a 6-4 win over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, CAN). Snitil went on to lose 6-5 against Rasmus Stjerne (Hvidovre, DEN). Snitil responded with a 9-6 win over Aku Kauste (Vantaa, FIN). Snitil won 9-8 against Brady Clark (Seattle, USA), then won 10-5 against Yusuke Morozumi (Kariuzawa, JPN). Snitil went on to lose 6-3 against Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Snitil earned 12.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 34 of the event schedule, Snitil did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Snitil ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
