Stjerne won 8-6 against Andrey Drozdov (Moscow, RUS), then won 6-5 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR) and 6-5 against Jiri Snitil (Praha, CZE). Stjerne won 7-4 against Yusuke Morozumi (Kariuzawa, JPN). Stjerne went on to lose 7-4 against Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI). Stjerne responded with a 7-6 win over Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN). Stjerne went on to lose 7-6 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Stjerne responded with a 5-3 win over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.

Stjerne earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Ford World Men's Curling Championship. For week 34 of the event schedule, Stjerne did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Stjerne ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
