Murdoch went on to lose 9-4 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, CAN). Murdoch responded with a 7-3 win over Jiri Snitil (Praha, CZE). Murdoch won 8-6 against Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI), then won 6-4 against Andrey Drozdov (Moscow, RUS). Murdoch went on to lose 8-6 against Brady Clark (Seattle, USA). Murdoch responded with a 8-4 win over Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Murdoch won 8-7 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE), then won 7-4 against Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN). Murdoch went on to lose 10-9 against Aku Kauste (Vantaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

Murdoch earned 30.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Ford World Men's Curling Championship. For week 34 of the event schedule, Murdoch did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Murdoch ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
