Edin went on to lose 5-4 against Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN). Edin responded with a 7-6 win over Brady Clark (Seattle, USA). Edin won 7-4 against Jiri Snitil (Praha, CZE), then won 9-8 against Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI). Edin went on to lose 10-8 against Yusuke Morozumi (Kariuzawa, JPN). Edin lost 6-5 to Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Edin lost 8-7 to David Murdoch (Aberdeen, SCO) where Edin responded with a 7-6 win over Rasmus Stjerne (Hvidovre, DEN). Edin won 11-7 against Jacobs in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Ford World Men's Curling Championship Championship title, Edin earned 45.000 world rankings points. For week 34 of the event schedule, Edin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
