Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) won 8-6 over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, CAN) in the Final of the Ford World Men's Curling Championship, held March 30 - April 7, 2013 in Victoria, British Columbia.

Edin finished 7-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated Aku Kauste (Vantaa, FIN) 7-6, then won 6-5 against Andrey Drozdov (Moscow, RUS). Edin went on to lose 5-4 against Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN). Edin responded with a 7-6 win over Brady Clark (Seattle, USA). Edin won 7-4 against Jiri Snitil (Praha, CZE), then won 9-8 against Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI). Edin went on to lose 10-8 against Yusuke Morozumi (Kariuzawa, JPN). Edin lost 6-5 to Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Edin lost 8-7 to David Murdoch (Aberdeen, SCO) where Edin responded with a 7-6 win over Rasmus Stjerne (Hvidovre, DEN). Edin won 11-7 against Jacobs in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Ford World Men's Curling Championship Championship title, Edin earned 45.000 world rankings points. For week 34 of the event schedule, Edin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Edin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
