Mitch Young (Whitehorse, YK) finished 5-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . Young lost 7-3 to Brady Scharback (Saskatoon, SK) where Young responded with a 14-2 win over Daniel Murray (Yellowknife, NT). Young won 7-6 against Zach Warkentin (Thunder Bay, NONT), then won 8-5 against Adam Boland (Gander, NL) in their final qualifying round match.
